Creations Shop Tour
We've created a store tour to help familiarize newcomers with our style and to keep all of our Creations' friends up-to-date on what's "in-store"! We've included lots of pictures, especially from the rooms featuring our pastels, brights, batiks, reproductions, and Kaffe Fassett / Rowan and Westminster fabrics. If you haven't been to Creations recently or if you are trying to remember something you saw recently in the store - try taking the tour.

Take a look at how the store looked recently. The displays are ever changing, so don't be surprised if it looks different on your next real visit.

We're in the middle of Texas wildflower country, so our in-store customers are always interested in our selection of Texas wildflower fabrics. Sometimes these fabrics are as hard to find as wildflowers in a drought year but we are happy to say that currently we have a nice selection of bluebonnet and wildflower fabrics. Lately, we've been lucky to find quite a few wildflower and Texas oriented applique, quilt, and embroidery patterns. We've even found some Texas-themed machine embroidery designs. You'll find links to all of these on our Celebrate Texas page.

Creations always offers a selection of wool fabrics, patterns, books and accessories for Wool Applique.

No matter what your stitching style, you'll appreciate our wide selection of colorful threads and trims in our notions room. We also have a wonderful assortment of hand-stitchery threads.

The notions room is also home to our batting, quilting stencils, all sorts of helpful sewing tools and a wide range of upholstery trims (great for jackets, purses and pillows).

We have a huge selection of colorful batiks. In fact, our downstairs room is almost full of batiks (cotton and rayon). Here you see our cotton batik area.

We can't resist these beautiful cotton batiks so you'll always find a wide selection of them in the store.

Quilts and batiks are a great combination, so we have many batik quilt models in our batik area.

Many of our favorite quilt pattern companies produce nature inspired patterns, like this grander than life, Lizard quilt and we can't resist creating models or quilt kits. You'll find our Lizard Quilt Kit on our Quilt Kits page.

We carry Rowan and Westminster Fabrics which offer boldly colored and patterned fabrics from designers such as Kaffe Fassett, Brandon Mably, Philip Jacobs and many others.

These fabrics currently fill the major part of our main upstairs room. The quilt above the fabrics is our Kaffe BQ Quilt Kit from Kaffe Fassett fabrics and is available on our Quilt Kits page.

Amy Butler is another favorite fabric and pattern designer for our customers. Here is our Amy Butler Soul Blossoms collection.

Her fabrics always inspire us to create a quilt model as with this Soul Blossom quilt.

These contemporary prints are from designer Marcia Derse for Troy Corporation. We love their unique graphic quality.

The quilt shown is our Gerta Mish Mash Quilt Kit made from the Gerta fabrics and is available on our Quilt Kits page.

Black and White fabrics and quilts are always popular with our customers, so you'll almost always find a black and white section in the store. We love the way the addition of bright colors makes these quilts sing! We have an extensive selection of Black and White fabrics online - on their very own page.

Our sun porch, currently the "Pastel Room", is the place to find fabrics that are a bit more subdued. These fabrics range from really soft pastels to some that are a bit brighter or darker.

We carry a wide range of flannel fabrics as they make perfect light-weight quilts (typically without batting) for our Texas climate. But they also provide just enough warmth for our fairly mild winters.

We also typically have some season specific fabrics and patterns on hand - such as these Halloween items which have recently arrived.

Speaking of special fabrics...

We have some gorgeous Silk Dupioni fabrics, both on the bolt and in boxed fat quarter sets. These fabrics are inspiring for both clothing and quilting projects.
