Tootie the Fax Cat became pretty famous in her days as a Creations' kitty! Her story was added to the Cool Cat Links page on Flippy's Cat Page from Melbourne, Australia. There are tons of wonderful cat stories at this site for all you cat lovers out there!

Tootie became known world-wide and many people asked about her over the years, so we posted this page to keep people updated on her activities. Tootie retired from Creations' duty several years ago and started staying at home (which was Julie's house) instead of coming in to work. During her days as an active store kitty, we captured some pretty fun pictures of her antics and her story was such a part of Creations that we've decided to leave this page and the Tootie the Fax Cat story page up. We're sorry to say that after a long life, Tootie has now moved on to kitty cat heaven.

We now have 3 store kitties - you can meet two of them on our Patches Playtime page. Many people mistake our most social kitty, Domino, for Tootie, so we thought it was time to straighten out the confusion. Domino, like Tootie is mostly white, but she has black spots and a few orange highlights. Unlike Tootie and our other store kitties, you have a good chance of encountering Domino when you come to the store.

But, now, on to a few of our stories about Tootie...

You are NOT going to believe my latest story for you! Those silly girls got a notion to buy a new fax machine! Well the goofy machine was different than my old favorite machine. It didn't make the same noises and even worse -- it didn't drop those wonderful curled up faxes to the floor.

I was devastated and refused to deliver any more faxes! (Actually, I just didn't know when faxes were arriving anymore.)

Luckily, they knew that I had a reputation to uphold. People actually come into the store now looking for me! So, after a few months of this terrible state of affairs, they decided "enough is enough" and decided to buy me a trusty thermal-fax machine again. They really had to sweat it out though - they searched high and low - seems these aren't the stylish kind of fax machines anymore. But, they finally found one and now once again I can truly be called "Tootie the Fax Cat"!

Speaking of faxes - every time those girls throw away a fax showing off some cat-related pattern or Block of the Month, I drag it back out of the trash several times just to be sure they see it (Kathy and Julie will vouch for me here). You can be sure they keep plenty of neat cat-related goodies in stock - THANKS to me!
