INSIDE THE QUILT HAUS...... Deanne and the gals have a great suggestion for lunch... The Fork & Spoon which is at the other corner of the shopping center. The menu is "ladies do lunch food"... gotta be good with that description. |

TO SEW SPECIAL IN SAN ANTONIO Since we don't like to "backtrack" we are going to head over to Sew Special using one of our favorite back roads... Hwy 46. Driving time to Sew Special is about an hour... depending on who you get behind on this road!!! Leaving the Quilt Haus go back out the parking lot and take an immediate Left and go to the first light, which is 46 West/Loop 337. Turn to the Left and we are headed to Sew Special. |
|
Just outside Bergheim (about 29 miles after turning onto 46 West) there is a nice new Valero gas station with Subway... might make a quick food, gas or restroom stop if you need. We have a new shortcut over to Sew Special that was given to us by one of our customers. Turn to the Left at the Valero Gas Station on FM 3351. This will take you directly to I-10. You will go across I-10 and turn to the Left. You are practically there. Stay on the feeder road and turn to the Right on Boerne Stage Road. Take a Left into the shopping center and you will see Sew Special next to Quizno's Sub. |
