Road Trip......

We are all getting ready for our 10th Annual Bluebonnet Shop Hop and we want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to find all of the shops. We know it's many miles of travel. We want to make your experience as fun and as easy as possible so we have driven the Shop Hop route again this year. We have added some new eating spots and refined a few of our directions. We will be taking the backroads whenever possible so that you will have a more interesting drive thru the Texas Hill Country. We hope you will enjoy traveling with us, but remember, construction sometimes changes things, so above all use your common sense and your cell phone whenever necessary.

We will start our adventure at Creations, and then head to Fredericksburg to visit Pocketful of Poseys. Our next driving segment will be the longest as we head up 281 to Cedar Park for a stop at Ready to Sew Bernina. It will be a very short hop to Honey Bee, and then Ginger's Needlearts Quilts, & Framing while we are still in Austin . We'll get back on I-35 and head to New Braunfels to see the Quilt Haus. Next we want to hook it over to Sew Special. We'll get off I-35 and head over via the back road, Hwy 46. After stopping there we will brave the San Antonio traffic and visit Memories by the Yard, Creative Sewing Center, Seventh Heaven Quilt Shop and Las Colchas. From there it's only a short ride down to Castroville to see Fabric & Friends. You will then have a great ride thru Bandera and head back to Creations. We don't like "backtracking" so we will be taking some "country roads" which we hope you will enjoy and maybe have a few more bluebonnet sightings!

You can join us at any shop and just take us along as your guide while you shop hop thru the Hill Country. To use our directions to their best, you will need to go in the order we chose, but you can always adjust our directions to make them work in reverse. We will have a special map for Ginger's and a note about Quilt Haus to use if you are going in the opposite direction.
