Road Trip......

It's that time of year again--- we are all getting ready for the 9th Annual Bluebonnet Shop Hop. We want to make your travel experience as fun and as easy as possible so once again we have decided to drive the Shop Hop route. This year we have added 3 new stores so this will alter the route we took last year. Not only will you get the chance to visit 3 new shops, but we will also take you on a more interesting drive thru the Texas Hill Country. We are taking the back roads whenever possible. We hope you will enjoy traveling with us, but remember, construction sometimes changes things and sometimes we have a few problems with left and right, so above all use you common sense, and your cell phone whenever necessary.

We will start our adventure at Creations, and then head to Fredericksburg to visit Pocketful of Poseys. Our next driving segment will be the longest as we head up 281 to Cedar Park for a stop at one of our first timers... Ready to Sew Bernina. It will be a very short hop to Honey Bee's, and then Ginger's Needlearts Quilts, & Framing while we are still in Austin . We'll get back on I-35 and head to New Braunfels to see the Quilt Haus. Next we want to hook it over to Sew Special. We'll get off I-35 and head over via the back road, Hwy 46. After stopping there we will brave the San Antonio traffic and visit Memories by the Yard, Creative Sewing Center, Seventh Heaven Quilt Shop and Las Colchas. From there it's only a short ride down to Castroville to see another first timer... Fabric & Friends. You will then have a great ride thru Bandera and head back to Creations. We don't like "backtracking" so we will be taking some "country roads" which we hope you will enjoy and maybe have a few more bluebonnet sightings!

You can join us at any shop and just take us along as your guide while you shop hop thru the Hill Country. To use our directions to their best, you will need to go in the order we chose, but you can always adjust our directions to make them work in reverse... with the exception of a visit to Ginger's. We will have a special map for directions to Ginger's if you are going in the opposite direction from us.
