Some of our Favorite New Patterns
Here are some of our favorite patterns. We intend to make them all, so be on the lookout for kits featuring these patterns in the very near future. You'll recognize some of the designers as most of them are from companies whose patterns we've carried for years.

Indygo Junction Crossover Kimono

This is a great pattern to combine different fabrics and show off some great buttons. The Crossover Kimono pattern ($12.98) includes sizes Small - XXLarge. As you can see in the line drawings below, the pattern includes variations in length and the button placement options just beg for interesting buttons.

Mandarin Jacket by Favorite Things
The Mandarin Jacket pattern ($14.98) by Favorite Things is a princess seam, semi-fitted mandarin collar jacket. The pattern includes several versions featuring different design details and includes sizes 4 - 22.

Step Ahead Soft Wear Jacket by CNT Pattern Company
The Step Ahead Soft Wear Jacket ($9.98) by CNT Pattern Company is a great jacket for felted wool as it has some fun design details that require fabric that doesn't ravel. The pattern includes sizes 8 - 24.

The Dragonfly by Diane Ericson
The Dragonfly pattern ($15.98) by Diane Ericson features a loose fitting, versatile top, jacket or vest with great design options. The pattern comes in size Small - Large. The line drawings below show the back view.

The Pacific Purse Collection
by Diane Ericson

The Pacific Purse Collection pattern ($13.98) by Diane Ericson is too much fun to just put with the purse section. As with all Diane's designs these purses have great design details and would look great with any of the jacket patterns shown here.

The Capitola Pant by Diane Ericson
The Capitola Pant pattern ($15.98) by Diane Ericson is a fun pant with some very interesting cuff and ankle details. We are busily making this one right now, so be on the lookout for a kit. The pattern includes sizes XS - XXL. We've included the line drawing from the pattern below to help you see the design details more clearly.

SnapDragon Jacket/Vest

The SnapDragon Jacket and Vest pattern ($15.98) by Diane Ericson features a lightly shaped versatile jacket or vest with a simple silhouette. It has mulitple wearing options with detachable sleeves and lapel. The pattern comes in sizes XS - XL. It gets its name from the snap tape which is highlighted in the designs. We sell the snap tape you'll need to complete this jacket. It sells by the yard for $6.98 per yard (available in black only).

The Peony Top, Vest & Wrap Skirt by Diane Ericson
The Peony pattern ($15.98) by Diane Ericson is a loose-fitting short sleeved top and vest with a wrap skirt. This design is lovely in linen, cottons, stable knits, or drapey fabrics like the bali rayons. The pattern includes sizes XS - XXL.

Stippled Jacket by Cardinal Street
The Stippled Jacket pattern ($11.98) by Cardinal Street is perfect for showing off your creativity. Get out those decorative threads and go to town on this fun jacket. It combines free motion stitching, raw edge fabric overlay and chenille. The pattern includes sizes Small - Large.

We've found a new clothing pattern line that we really like - The Cutting Line. We introduce 5 patterns from this collection below.

One Seam Pants pattern by The Cutting Line
These loose-fitting pants have no side seams. The cut-on waist has an elastic casing. They will look great in rayon or light weight linen. The One Seam Pants pattern ($19.98) includes sizes XS - XL.

Farewell to Arms pattern by The Cutting Line
The Farewell to Arms pattern ($19.98) features a moderately loose-fitting buttoned and pleated front with a convertible collar. In addition to the shirt and shirtdress, the pattern includes a skirt. Tencell would hang great in this dress as would a lightweight linen. The pattern includes sizes XS - XL.

By Popular Demand pattern by The Cutting Line
The By Popular Demand pattern ($ 19.98) features a cropped jacket and top. The semi-fitted, high hip length jacket with a shirt collar has forward shoulder seams and patch pockets. The top has a cap sleeve with raglan seam styling and a curved hem. Both designs will look great in linen. Sizes XS - XL are included in the pattern.

Anything But Ordinary pattern by The Cutting Line
The Anything But Ordinary pattern ($ 19.98) features a very loose-fitting, high hip length jacket and cropped top in sizes XS - XL. The jacket has a cut-on facing, standing collar, center-back seam and vent. Both the jacket and short-sleeve top feature drop-shoulder sleeves. These two styles will look good in linen, tencel or lightweight denim.

Vintage Potluck Apron by Favorite Things
The Vintage Potluck Apron pattern ($12.98) creates an apron 24" in length and one-size fits all. Create a coordinating kitchen set with the included patterns for tea towels, hot pads and oven pads.

The Bohemian Skirt by Favorite Things
The Bohemian Skirt pattern ($9.98) features an easy 30" finished length peasant skirt with an elasticized waist. It includes directions for both a frayed edge and a finished edge and includes sizes 4 - 22.

Kintamani Top and Tunic
The Kintamani Top and Tunic pattern ($12.98) is part of The Bali Collection of patterns from The Batik Butik. It is a great choice for using with our Bali Rayons. It features easy classic styling in a loose-fitting top or tunic with three length options as shown on the pattern cover. The pattern includes sizes S-XXXL.

Cute Skirts
The Cute Skirts pattern ($9.98) from Favorite Things features an eight panel skirt with options for a flounce or gores. The waistband is straight in the front and elasticized on the back and the elastic can be adjusted to wear the skirt either at the waist or below the waist. The pattern includes sizes 4 - 22.

Stylish Smock (Retro Apron)
This retro style apron pattern was a hit at our shop hop in April and they just keep selling! It is called the Stylish Smock and includes 3 styles of retro apron designs in sizes S-XL. The pattern sells for $11.98. Don't you think it is smashing it these 50's fabrics?

Easy Artisan Jacket from Indygo Junction
The Easy Artisan Jacket pattern ($9.98) is a wonderful design for all those Bali Rayons. It will look best in a lightweight "drapy" fabric. Includes sizes S - XXL.

Easy Silohuette Vest from Indygo Junction
The Easy Silohuette Vest pattern ($11.98) offers six versatile vest designs with flattering shaping. It has just four main pattern pieces which give you a variety of shapes and lengths. Includes sizes S - XXL.

The Cardigan Jacket pattern
by Favorite Things
This shawl collared jacket by Favorite Things - is a great style for reversible fabrics! The jacket uses just one layer of fabric and the wrong side is exposed for the shawl collar. The pattern is $9.98 and includes sizes 4 to 22.

Camp Shirt
Here's another great summer pattern from Taylor Made Designs. We find that these camp shirts are great with bali rayons as well as quilting cottons and batiks. Just combine a great fabric with this classic style and you'll have a great looking shirt every time.
