Wearable projects are our passion - especially clothes that feature easy to sew patterns in beautiful, high-quality fabrics. For clothing, we stock linens, rayons, woolens, tencel, denims, cottons and flannels. On this page you'll sometimes find Clothing Kits, but you'll always find sample garments highlighting the many sample clothing garments we've made with some of our favorite clothing patterns and fabrics. The patterns we've used in our samples are available on this page. You'll fnd many more of our favorite and most versatile patterns on our Wearable Patterns page. Children's Clothing Ideas
These sample garments show off a few children's pattern lines we carry. Their fresh and creative styling has been a real hit with our customers.

Aprons
Aprons are still very popular - probably because they are a fairly quick project with lots of customizing potential. We found so many cute patterns that we offer them all on our Aprons page.

Rayon Batik Fabrics

If you've been shopping at Creations for a while, you'll surely know that we carry some wonderful Rayon Batiks for clothing. We now have Rayon Batik fabrics from several manufacturers in a variety of weights and widths and, of course, colors. The lighter weight rayon batiks have always been a favorite of ours for blouses, skirts and softly draping jackets and we now carry heavier weight rayons which are great for jackets and pants.

The model garments shown to the left are from our lighter weight rayons, We also carry Luxury Rayon from Batik Butik. Look for all of our Rayon Batik fabrics and the clothing models we've created with them on our Rayon Batik Fabrics page.

Japanese Fabrics
We've found a variety of beautiful Japanese fabrics that we just love to use for clothing and purse projects. All are 100% cotton and can be machine washed and dried. There are soft, subdued woven plaids and a light weight canvas bird print . Don't miss the classic Indygo cotton prints and even a hexagon print that has numerous Japanese prints showcased inside each hexagon.

Home Dec Fabrics for Clothing Projects

We have some of the most fun upholstery weight fabrics.  These prints are heavy enough to cover a couch or chair, but fun enough to wear as a jacket or vest. You'll find all our selection of home dec fabrics that are great for clothing, on our Home Dec Fabrics page. But, here's just a peek at what you'll find there.

Our Crazy 'Ol Birds Vest model, right, is a great example. We've made a vest from the Crazy 'Ol Birds 54" wide poly/rayon fabric ($34.98 /yard) from Mill Creek.

Note for 54" wide, Poly/Rayon $34.98 Home Dec Fabrics:
We washed the fabric and, of course, it shrank, but that’s what gave it the great wrinkled texture.  In order to allow for shrinkage on the $34.98 /yard fabrics below, please calculate your fabric as if it were 45” and not  the 54” it is before washing.  In the length, please add about 1/4 yard to your total. In the order forms below, we remind you which of the fabrics have this shrinkage factor.

Crazy 'Ol Birds Vest
We made our Crazy 'Ol Birds vest, above, from the Crazy 'Ol Bird 54" wide poly/rayon fabric ($34.98 /yard) from Mill Creek. Our vest is made from the Wear It All Jacket pattern ($16.98), from Saf-T-Pockets - but we left out the sleeves.

Mill Creek Bardwell Cliffside Onyx Easy Swing Jacket
Our Mill Creek Bardwell Cliffside Onyx Easy Swing Jacket model combines the popular The Easy Swing Jacket pattern ($12.98) with a gorgeous Black and Tan Paisley fabric.

The Mill Creek Bardwell Cliffside Onyx ($23.98/yard) fabric, shown right, is a jacket weight 54" wide, 100% cotton. The casual, yet sophisticated, look of this black and tan fabric make this a jacket that you'll be able to wear to the office or just running around town. We offer the Easy Swing Jacket pattern just below.

Ivanhoe Sussex Peppercorn Easy Swing Jacket
Our Ivanhoe Sussex Pepperscorn Easy Swing Jacket model combines the popular The Easy Swing Jacket pattern ($12.98), offered above, with the wonderful large fall floral, Ivanhoe Sussex Peppercorn, from Swavelle fabrics.

The Ivanhoe Sussex Peppercorn ($29.98/yard) fabric, shown below, from Swavelle is a jacket weight 54" wide, 100% cotton. The muted fall colors on a light neutral background give this jacket a look that can be worn fall through spring.

Wilmington Trapeze Topper and Galapagoes Fiesta Jacket
These two colorful jackets will brighten up your fall days. Our Wilmington Trapeze Topper model, on left, features the 54" wide, 50% rayon/ 50% linen Wilmington fabric ($21.98)from Covington in the Trapeze Topper pattern ($13.98) from Indygo Junction.

Our Galapagoes Fiesta Jacket model uses Kwik Sew 3732 and a jacket weight 54" wide, 100% cotton Galapagoes Fiesta fabric from Swavelle.

Floral Kwik Sew 3732 Jacket
When we find a great pattern, we love to try it out in different fabrics. This lively floral print looks great in Kwik Sew 3732 (offered above for $12.98). The floral fabric ($23.98 /yard), offered below, is 54" wide, 100% jacket weight cotton.
