Manzanita Quilt Kit
We just love this new quilt kit that Corine stitched and beaded for us. Our Manzanita Quilt Kit ($52.00) includes the pattern, fabrics to complete the 25" x 29" top AND the beads. The beads are glass beads cut into leaf shapes with vein etchings in each leaf. The beads are actually black, although they look a bit blue in the picture. There are about 125 beads in the included bead package.

We used the complimentary pattern from Benartex for our quilt kit, because it was just so right for the fabric. Our Parchisi Quilt Kit ($49.00) features fabrics from a collection called Gotham from Benartex. The kit makes a 41" square quilt and includes all the fabrics to complete the top, the binding fabrics as well as the instructions to make the quilt.

Texas Crests Quilt Kit
We love the Texas Crests Machine Embroidery CD which was digitized by Susa Glen. As soon as we saw it we knew we'd have to design a quilt kit using these embroidered crests featuring Texas themed imagery. We used our Creations' Bluebonnet batik as the outer border with coordinating batiks for the entire quilt. Our Texas Crests Quilt Kit ($45.00), shown right, creates a 48" x 52" quilt and contains all the fabrics to complete the top of the wallhanging, including the binding. The CD is not included.

The Texas Crests Machine Embroidery CD ($79.98) not included in the kit. This CD contains a total 15 different designs digitized by Susa Glen, in 3", 4", and 5" to make a total of 51 designs. The Texas Crests Machine Embroidery CD ($79.98) includes the following formats: .dst, .emd, .exp, .hus, .jef, . pec, .pes, .vip, .xxx . If you have the Bernina Artista, you will need to have the software to convert the designs to the Artista format. The image below, from the back of the CD, shows the included designs.

We have 3 new quilt kits that we are calling "Convenience Quilt Kits". The 'pieced' look in the centers of these quilts is actually printed. The fabrics were designed by Thimbleberries for RJR fabrics. Our Convenience Quilt Kits ($ 49.00) include the center piece for the quilt as well as a border fabric and instructions for adding the borders to the printed quilt. Water's Edge Quilt Kit
Our Water's Edge Quilt Kit ($129.00) makes a 90" x 100" quilt. The beautiful Moda fabrics featured in this quilt are available individually on our At Water's Edge by Blackbird Designs page. The colors are muted tones of blues, tans, greens, and golds which all combine together for a lovely blended feeling. 

4-Patch Fusion Quilt Kit
Our 4-Patch Fusion Quilt Kit ($95.00) is from the Charmed and Dangerous Booklet and makes a 67" x 67" quilt. We have included 30 different reproduction prints for the blocks. The tone-on-tone background fabric is the spiderweb print as that represents good luck. Our 4-Patch Fusion Quilt Kit includes the booklet, but we also sell it separately for $13.00.

The backing we used is a 30's yellow with small off-white star flowers (see lower right turned back edge of quilt). We offer the 4-Patch Fusion Backing Kit ($39.00) which contains 4 1/4 yards of this fabric.

Raggedy Chenille Patched Flannel Blanket Kit
Here's a great light-weight blanket, made from 2 layers of flannel and one layer of chenille - no batting and no backing. We liked the flannel and chenille combination so much that we created four versions of this kit (Green, Brown, and Burgundy - and the latest addition - Black). Each Raggedy Chenille Patched Flannel Blanket Kit ($109.00) includes the pattern as well as all the flannels and chenille fabric, including the binding, to complete the 54" x 72" blanket. One-Block Wonder Quilt Kit
Wow! We have really had fun playing with this great new technique for creating unique, one-of-a-kind quilts based on the book "One-Block Wonders" by Maxine Rosenthal.

Her technique uses just one fabric - the secret is in the way you cut the fabric using just one shape. We've created several samples of the quilts, including a Poinsettia One- Block Wonder Quilt Kit ($44.00), shown left which creates about a 46" x 58" quilt.

The size is approximate, because it depends on how many of the hexagons you use. Don't worry that hexagons will be difficult to piece together - the technique provides a simple straight-line method for stitching the quilt together.
