Turning Twenty Again Quilt Kit
Our Turning Twenty Again Quilt Kit ($69.00) creates a 64" x 80" (approximate) quilt. The quilt is made from fat quarters from the Gerta fabric line by Troy. The kit includes 20 fat quarters and fabric for the binding. We sell the book, Turning Twenty... Again, separately ($10.00) since it has been around a while and you may already have it.

We didn't actually make this quilt.  Helen Ridgway made it.  It is interesting how it came about.  Ginger helped Helen's granddaughter buy her a set of fat quarters for Christmas.  Helen decided to make this Turning Twenty Again quilt from the fat quarters and was kind enough to let us borrow it. This is a great line of prints for this style quilt, so we just had to make a quilt kit to go with Helen's beautiful sample.

 

Simple Star Quilt Kit

The kit contains 20 batik fat quarters and fabric for the binding.  To complete the quilt you will need two sets of templates: Elisa's Backporch 7" Quarter Circle Template ($17.98) and Elisa's Backporch 3 1/2" Finished Block template ($13.98).

Our kit also includes a photo of our version of the quilt and a basic drawing showing how we put the quilt together, but we think you will want the book Crazy Curves Continues by Elisa Wilson ($24.95) for inspiration.

Scrappy Crossings Quilt Kit
Our Scrappy Crossings Quilt Kit ($95.00) creates a 60" x 72" quilt featuring the 45 fabrics in the Evening Mist fabric collection from Moda. The muted grays, browns and taupes make an elegant palette for this quilt. The kit includes all the fabrics needed for the quilt top plus the pattern. The kit makes a 51" x 67" quilt and includes all the fabrics to complete the top, the binding fabrics and the Pieces of 8 quilt instructions. Blessings Quilt Kit
We are pleased to present our Blessings Quilt Kit ($119.00). The quilt is made from Moda's Blessing fabric collection by Brannock & Patek, available in our fabrics section. This quilt measures approx. 90″ x 101″ so it will fit a Queen bed. The kit contains the pattern and all the fabrics for the top as well as the binding.

The quilt is actually very basic piecing. It uses alternating blocks of the Friendship Star and Ohio Star. The placement of colors is what gives it a diagonal design.

We also offer a Blessing Backing Kit ($83.00) which uses the print shown below. That print is the same print as the pillowcases shown in the photo. We completed our bed ensemble with a dust ruffle using a printed plaid from the Blessings collection.

Calming Effects Quilt Kit
Our Calming Effects Quilt Kit ($59.00) looks complicated but it is pretty easy. We created it with one striped batik in the center and just two borders. We cut strips of the striped batik and then cut triangles and sewed them back together. The kit creates a 56" x 66" quilt and includes all the fabrics to complete the quilt top as well as the pattern.

We found a great fabric for the back, it looks like old lichen covered stone, so it compliments the front of the quilt very well. Our Calming Effects Backing Kit ($39.00) has 4 1/4 yards of this fabric, shown below.

Simply Daisies Quilt Kit
Our Simply Daisies Quilt Kit ($54.00) creates a 24" x 22" wall hanging based on the Simply Daisies quilt pattern by Bigfork Bay Cotton Company. The quilt is created using raw edge applique and free-motion quilting. The creative use of batiks in the background, leaves and stems makes the quilt look much more detailed than it really is. Tranquility Quilt Kit
Our Tranquility Quilt Kit ($59.00), below left, is based on the Tranquility quilt from the book Floragraphix IV Quilt Designs by Jason Yenter from In the Beginning. Manzanita Quilt Kit
We just love this new quilt kit that Corine stitched and beaded for us. Our Manzanita Quilt Kit ($52.00) includes the pattern, fabrics to complete the 25" x 29" top AND the beads. The beads are glass beads cut into leaf shapes with vein etchings in each leaf. The beads are actually black, although they look a bit blue in the picture. There are about 125 beads in the included bead package.

We love the Texas Crests Machine Embroidery CD which was digitized by Susa Glen. As soon as we saw it we knew we'd have to design a quilt kit using these embroidered crests featuring Texas themed imagery. 4-Patch Fusion Quilt Kit
Our 4-Patch Fusion Quilt Kit ($95.00) is from the Charmed and Dangerous Booklet and makes a 67" x 67" quilt. We have included 30 different reproduction prints for the blocks. The tone-on-tone background fabric is the spiderweb print as that represents good luck. Our 4-Patch Fusion Quilt Kit includes the booklet, but we also sell it separately for $13.00.

The backing we used is a 30's yellow with small off-white star flowers (see lower right turned back edge of quilt). We offer the 4-Patch Fusion Backing Kit ($39.00) which contains 4 1/4 yards of this fabric.

Here's a great light-weight blanket, made from 2 layers of flannel and one layer of chenille - no batting and no backing. We liked the flannel and chenille combination so much that we created four versions of this kit (Green, Brown, and Burgundy - and the latest addition - Black). One-Block Wonder Quilt Kit
Wow! We have really had fun playing with this great new technique for creating unique, one-of-a-kind quilts based on the book "One-Block Wonders" by Maxine Rosenthal.

Her technique uses just one fabric - the secret is in the way you cut the fabric using just one shape. We've created several samples of the quilts, including a Poinsettia One- Block Wonder Quilt Kit ($44.00), shown left which creates about a 46" x 58" quilt.

The size is approximate, because it depends on how many of the hexagons you use. Don't worry that hexagons will be difficult to piece together - the technique provides a simple straight-line method for stitching the quilt together.
