Since we encourage you to call and talk to us, we thought you might like a visual image of who you are talking with. You never know who might answer that phone, and we will all be delighted to help you... We'll start with a photo of us (Kathy and Julie) about the time we started the store (32 years ago)...... Kinda makes you wonder -- We're asked way too often which of us is the oldest -- This photo should put that question to rest (for those of you who know us - we're sure you can identify us). |

| The Staff One of the things we are most proud of concerning our business is the length of time people are willing to work with us... |

meet some combination of these three... Corine -- 13 years Her specialty for classes is machine applique and piecing techniques, but we call her our "do it all girl". Val -- 8 years this time She's back after a several year absence -- out of the country with hubby -- We won't let her get away again. Val teaches our beginning quilting classes. |

Meet Mary -- 5 years
Two years ago, Mary Mitchell joined us. She brings many years experience as she had her own custom drapery business in Connecticut. She and her hubby, Peter, moved to Kerrville to retire!!!!! She loves to sew and you will find her here on Monday and Wednesday - our idea of retirement. |
|
|
Meet "Mr. Willie" -- 19 years You might recognize him from Our House.. Well he's now our Mr. Fixit. He's a pretty special fellow to be able to work with all these women. His wife has trained him well... |

Catty Wampus has retired from retailing. Not surprisingly, after experiencing several months off she has opted for the leisurely life instead of returning to the spotlight. She turned over her customer relations responsibilities to our Patches and Domino several years ago. Catty Wampus is with us in spirit only now. |
|
|
Tootie also retired a few years ago, but she'll always be famous as our "office" cat -- always retrieving all the unattended
faxes (see the Tale of Tootie the Fax Cat
for all the true facts) -- unless of course she was busy sleeping. Tootie is now just with us in spirit, she had a long and exciting life. |

Patches joined us many years ago, shortly after we moved Creations
into the newly remodeled location. She won our hearts instantly. She loves to lounge in the office. Here she is diligently "helping" Julie locate the cause of a paper jam! Learn
more about her on our Patches' Playtime
page. |
|

Domino joined us shortly after Patches and has been a bundle
of energy ever since. Ginger once caught Domino taking a break from her customer greeting responsbilities to brush up on her computing skills. Learn more about her on our Patches'
Playtime page.

Our newest kittie, Lefty, is extremely shy and doesn't stay visible long enough to have his picture taken anymore. But, you'll find a picture of him as a kitten on our Pet Projects page. |

We are also VERY fortunate to have some great Virtual
employees --- |

Meet Sharon -- She works all our computer magic... It's
a special talent to have the technical knowledge as well as a creative
talent -- she personally made Tootie cat famous with her fax cat poem.
She's pictured here with her two faithful office assistants. |
|
Meet Mom and Dad -- very important people in the history of Creations. Dad was our CPA from the beginning and Mom's last job was as our "packager" -- Someone has to fold all of those fat quarters. We told dad often that even though our pay is zippo -- we are loyal customers... |

Our beloved mother passed away on November 21st, 2005. She was a part of Creations from the very first day and continued to help right up until her death. Many of our long-time customers remember Mom fondly for her friendly assistance and cheerful demeanor.
On March 1, 2010 our dear father, Tommy Thompson joined Mom in heaven. A favorite Creations' story about Dad is the thousands of tomatoes he supplied each summer to us, our staff and anyone who would allow it, . They are both missed by everyone at Creations. |

Okay, okay! We are getting some grief from our loyal staff about slipping in a "slightly" outdated picture (see first picture) for our own photo. So, here we are... Meet Kathy (left) and Julie (right), owners of Creations. |
