Our online shop offers a wide selection of 100% cotton quilting fabrics as well as home dec fabrics that we also love to use for clothing. In the store, we carry lots of 100% cotton flannels which are also great for both quilting and clothing and we carry some beautiful solid 100% linen. *Holiday Fabrics* It's that time again! Time to start sewing for the fall and winter holidays! Halloween and Christmas fabrics began arriving in mid May. Halloween fabrics from Marcus Brothers' Wickedly Wonderful and Maywood's Seen on Halloween have arrived. Our first Christmas line is Noel by Susan Winget for Benartex. And more Christmas fabrics for 2010, like Moda's Woodland Holiday have arrived.

*Flannel Fabrics* Fall in Texas is a great time for these lightweight flannels. Kaufman's Flitter Flannel and Urban Blosssoms are light-weight cotton flannels that will work great in quilting or clothing projects. Wee Woodland Flannels by Keiki from Moda feature playful woodland motifs like bugs and mushrooms along with spots and stripes in bright fall colors like turquoise, orange, red, brown and cream. Love U Brushed flannels by Deb Strain for Moda include both soft and brightly colored prints with butterflies, flowers, snails, turtles, owls, and dots.

Take a trip back to the 50's with the Gypsy collection from Felicity Miller for Westminster. We have a fun new line, Weekend, by Erin McMorris a talented young designer from Free Spirit. Freebird by Momo from Moda celebrates the flowers and birds of summer.

Heather Bailey's Nicey Jane fabric collection from Free Spirit features colorful springtime florals and geometrics. Oz by Sanae for Moda is a playful collection of florals, dots and surprises like lollipops and fun dotted stripe. Petalicious from Marcus Brothers is a collection of abstract florals, stripes and dots in currently popular colors like orange, yellow, turquoise and green and brown. Stars of Freedom by Timeless Treasues features stars, stripes and patriotic imagery.

Nuance by Paula Nadelstern, from Benartex shows off more of Paula's kaleidoscope designs as well as stripes, tiles and ribbons. Sunstone, also by Paula, provides textured fabrics to coordinate with the Nuance collection. Jungle Fever, by Luella Doss, from Free Spirit has bold colors and large scale prints.

Rowan/Westminster Fabrics Rowan/Westminster produces several other interesting designer fabric lines besides the Free Spirit line mentioned above and the Kaffe Fassett fabric collections shown below. Currently we offer fabrics from Brandon Mably and Philip Jacobs. Amy Butler fabric collections feature very contemporary, bold and colorful designs. Amy Butler's Love from Rowan/Westminster features roses, peonies, paisleys and dots in colors with names like periwinkle, wine, blush, mint and teal - another great line to help us look towards spring.These fabrics are 45" wide, quilting-weight, 100% cotton from Rowan/Westminster Fabrics.

Kaffe Fassett Fabrics Kaffe Fassett fabrics from Rowan / Westminster are a favorite among our in-store and online customers so you will always find a large selection in our online catalog. His colorful fabrics are typically bold and feature both geometric and organic designs including leaves and flowers. These 44" fabrics are all 100% cotton. Each fabric picture below leads to one page in our selection of Kaffe Fassett fabrics. One of the great things about his fabrics is that they all seem to work together regardless of the season or line that they are from, so be sure to look through all of our Kaffe Fassett fabric collection pages. Sets of 2 1/2" fabric strips from a single line of fabric have become very popular lately. Some designers have even begun offering patterns and books specifically for these strip sets. The most popular ones in our store have been the batik strip sets by Hoffman and Timeless Treasures, so we have a page dedicated to those. Bali Rayons
These popular Bali Rayon batik fabrics are machine washable and wonderfully soft. Our Bali Rayon selection is ever-changing so visit our Bali Rayons page to see the latest additions.

Chenille We like to keep the Moda Windowpane Chenille fabrics (shown right) in stock on our chenille page. We love to make jackets from these gorgeous chenilles. They also work well in quilts - both as part of the patchwork and on the back of quilts.

Minkee Galore!

Minkee fabrics are all the rage right now! They are soft and cuddly and work great on quilt backs, as pillows, or in luxuriously soft robes. We have solid Blankee Minkee from Benartex as well as solid and dot Versailles Minkee on our Minkee Fabrics page. In addition to the brights shown here, we have dark and pastel Minkees too.

Moda Fireside fabrics are very similar to Minkee. They provide the same huggable softness, with less shine. We call them "Adult Minkee" and believe they are a great alternative for quilt backs for guys. Visit our Moda Fireside fabrics page to see these.
